Shaft drive
Unlike the belt-drive system used in petrol mowers, our shaft-drive transmission, shaft-drive PTO, and wettype mechanical PTO clutch are incredibly durable and trouble free.
Mower duct improvements
A host of improvements have been made to the duct leading from the mower deck. It was enlarged to prevent clogging. A new electronic sensor was added to signal when the collector needs to be emptied. A new lever on the side of the tractor, allows the operator to expel excess grass from the duct without leaving the tractor seat
Large capacity grass collector
Incredibly sturdy yet lightweight, the large capacity, 370-litre grass collector lets you mow longer with less stopping for emptying. The new grass collector on the GR1600-II is lighter and much easier to use. The lid of the collector now opens wide, making easy work of maintenance. Also, its dumping lever, with gas-spring assist mechanism, makes easy work of emptying the collector’s contents. New maintenance features.

Rear Deflector An optional rear deflector is available for times when you choose not to use the grass collector. This deflector discharges grass and dust directly onto the ground and easily attaches to the end of the duct, which leads from the mower deck.
